vivo Y12: LCD display, MediaTek Helio G85 chip and 5000 mAh battery for $140

The company vivo announced in China a new budget smartphone Y-series.

Here's What We Know

The gadget received a 6.56-inch LCD display with a drop-shaped cutout and HD+ resolution. The novelty runs a MediaTek Helio G85 processor paired with 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage. The inbuilt memory can be expanded with a microSD card if desired.

The vivo Y12 gets a dual 13 MP + 2 MP main camera and an 8 MP front camera. The gadget comes with a 5000 mAh battery, 15W charging and a USB-C port. The novelty has a 3.5mm jack. Out of the box, the device runs Android 13 and Origin OS 3 shell.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The vivo Y12 is already available to buy in China for $140. The smartphone is available in two colours, Wild Green and Crystal Purple.
