LG presents evo 2024 OLED TVs

LG is introducing an all-new and expanded OLED TV lineup for 2024 with an advanced AI processor developed by LG specifically for OLED TVs. In particular, the LG SIGNATURE OLED M4 and LG OLED G4 TVs are equipped with the new α (Alpha) 11 AI processor, which effectively improves picture and sound quality. According to the developers, this provides a 70 per cent improvement in graphics performance and 30 per cent processing speed compared to previous models.

The new LG TVs will come with enhanced AI scaling, which uses precise pixel-level image analysis to effectively emphasise features of objects and backgrounds that may appear blurry. All of this is achieved through artificial intelligence (or more specifically, machine learning) that improves colour by analysing commonly used hues that best convey the mood and emotional elements intended by directors and video content creators. Professional Dynamic Mapping adjustments divide the image into blocks and fine-tune brightness and contrast by analysing variations in brightness where light enters the scene, creating images that look more three-dimensional.

All of this is achieved with the LG SIGNATURE OLED M4, a wireless OLED TV with a screen size of 65 to 97 inches. The wireless Zero Connect Box completely eliminates all connected cables. The OLED M4 is the world's first TV to wirelessly stream 4K 144Hz video and audio, delivering the best OLED performance with precise detail and an immersive experience.

LG TVs also have important features for gamers, such as support for 4K 144Hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.1. They can also work with other devices on your home network and support various connection standards such as Apple AirPlay and Google Chromecast.

Guided by a user-centric approach, LG's "Sync in, Sync out" vision expresses the company's desire to create personalised experiences for every lifestyle, with products available to all. To achieve this, LG's webOS smart TV platform provides customised solutions and services with an extended ecosystem that deliver unique encounters as a media and entertainment platform to ensure the best TV experience for everyone.

The new lineup of TVs also supports the webOS Re:New upgrade programme, which provides updates for up to five years. This way, LG Smart TV owners can receive updates and enjoy updated functionality for an extended period of time.
