Sony has announced a new portable speaker.

The novelty has been named Sony SRS-XV500. The gadget received two X-Balanced Speaker Units, which provide powerful bass with minimal distortion, as well as two tweeters. The device is IPX4 certified and boasts a battery life of up to 25 hours.

The speaker supports fast charging (10 minutes provides 2.5 hours of music listening). The novelty has backlighting, karaoke mode with Echo and Key Control functions, as well as various ports for connecting microphones and musical instruments. For example, a guitar.
