0 out of 10 from iFixit: AirPods Pro 2 are disposable - they cannot be repaired at all

iFixit experts got new wireless earphones from Apple - AirPods Pro 2nd generation. Usually during such tests the maintainability of gadgets is checked, but in this case there is nothing to evaluate.

Here's What We Know

As it turned out, the earphones are not repairable at all: if you try to disassemble them (at home or in a professional workshop) - you just break them. Not surprisingly, the service centers do not repair Apple headphones, and immediately replace the old model with a new one.

In the AirPods Pro 2 everything is filled with glue and permanently sealed, which makes repair impossible. As a result, the novelty received a well-deserved 0 out of 10 points from iFixit for repairability.

By the way, the first AirPods Pro had the same result.
