Ukraine has already received some weapons from the US as part of a recent and long-awaited military aid package.
In April, it became known that Germany would transfer the third battery of the MIM-104 Patriot air defence system to Ukraine. Now there is information about when the system will be delivered.
Ukraine has been using French AASM Hammer guided bombs with Soviet aircraft since the beginning of the year. As it turned out, France is now working to integrate them into the F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters that will soon be in service with the Ukrainian armed forces.

The radar is also capable of tracking up to 1,500 targets simultaneously at a range of up to 250 kilometres.

The arms package may be announced before the G7 summit, which will be held from 19 to 21 May. By the way, Italy earlier took its SAMP/T air defence system from Slovakia. It is possible that it will be sent to Ukraine.

The radars are being purchased under the AFP Modernisation Horizon 2 programme to modernise the early detection systems of the Philippine Air Force.
