SUV, luxury and sports car: Toyota plans to introduce 10 new electric vehicles by 2026

Toyota, during its FY2023 press conference, shared its plans for the future.

What was revealed

The Japanese manufacturer plans to launch 10 new electric vehicles by 2026. The list will include new SUVs, two luxury models and even one sports car.

The company has not yet revealed which brand will release the sports car (Toyota or Lexus). According to rumors, it could be a production version of Lexus Electrified Sport that will replace V10-powered LFA.

The Electrified Sport concept was shown back in 2021. It will have all-wheel drive and imitation of a manual gearbox. Moreover, the car will get an acceleration up to 100 km/h in less than 2 seconds and a cruising range of up to 700 km.
