Fitbit announced the Charge 6 sports wristband with a side tactile button and Google services, priced at $160

Fitbit has a new sports bracelet in its range. The wearable gadget is called Fitbit Charge 6.

Here's What We Know

The fitness bracelet is equipped with a 1.04" AMOLED-based display with touch support. On the side edge, there is a tactical button that can respond to presses. The last time we saw a physical button was in the Charge 3, which debuted in 2018.

The Fitbit Charge 6 has all the standard features for sports bracelets. The gadget is able to track heart rate and blood oxygen saturation levels, determine stress levels, measure body temperature and take ECG readings.

According to the manufacturer, Fitbit Charge 6 can detect heart rate better than any of the previous models. This is achieved through the use of optimised Pixel Watch algorithms. During sports, the gadget takes measurements every second.

Fitbit Charge 6 supports 40 sport modes. The wearable device can be connected directly to fitness equipment from Tonal, Concept2, NordicTrack and Peloton brands. It is expected that the list will be increased in the future.

The novelty got Google Maps (there is GPS) and Google Wallet. With the help of the wearable device, the user will be able to pay for purchases. It is also possible to control music playback on the smartphone (works only in YouTube Music).

Price & When We Can Expect It

Fitbit Charge 6 is scheduled for delivery on 10 October 2023. The sports bracelet is available for pre-order now. The price is $160. The model is sold in Porcelain / Silver Aluminum, Coral / Champagne Gold Aluminum and Obsidian / Black Aluminum colours.
