Tom Henderson has announced the launch and release date for a roguelike game based on the Prince of Persia franchise from developers Dead Cells

A few days ago, authoritative insider Tom Henderson reported that in 2024 Ubisoft will release a roguelike game based on the Prince of Persia franchise, which is being handled by Evil Empire studio, known for its longstanding and extremely successful support of the popular game Dead Cells.

Just now, a journalist has fleshed out his information.

Here's What We Know

Tom Henderson reported that Rogue Prince of Persia (the name is still conditional) will be officially presented at the Triple-i Initiative show from indie developers, which will be held on 10 April.

The insider also got to know the release date of the game: Rogue Prince of Persia will be released in Steam Early Access on 14 May 2024.

Henderson's information is almost always confirmed by official sources, so this time there is no reason not to trust him, especially since Evil Empire studio is indeed stated in the list of Triple-i Initiative participants.
