Crowds of people in the streets of Baghdad, desert landscapes and a return to classic mechanics: new details about Assassin's Creed Mirage have appeared

Youtuber j0nathan, who was the first to report the exact name of the new Assassin's Creed part, shared new information about Assassin's Creed Mirage.

Here's What We Know

  • The game's action will unfold in one city, Baghdad, surrounded by desert landscapes, rivers, and oases;
  • The areas of Baghdad are controlled by four ringleaders and the gamer will have to fight each of them;
  • Assassin's Creed Mirage will feature many elements from the very first parts of the franchise, which the developers eventually abandoned. As examples, j0nathan cites knife-throwing and a greater emphasis on stealth;
  • One of the main features of Mirage will be the crowds of people in the streets. In this regard, the game will be similar to Assassin's Creed Unity;
  • important enemies' kills will be shown in slow motion, as it was in the classic installments;
  • Mirage will also feature new acrobatic abilities that will help the hero to move around Baghdad quickly and safely;
  • The protagonist, as it was previously announced, will be a young assassin Basim from Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

Assassin's Creed Mirage will be released in April-June, 2023.

The official information about the game will be announced at Ubisoft Forward, which will take place on the evening of September 10.
