Genshin Impact developers received an award from the PRC government for their contribution to the promotion of Chinese culture

The Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China awarded the creators of the popular multiplatform game Genshin Impact.

HoYoverse (formerly known as miHoYo) received the Genshin Impact Award for Promoting Chinese Culture and Tourism.

Nearly 150 technology companies competed for the award, but only HoYoverse represented the gaming industry and was among the Top 10 companies promoting Chinese culture.
