Insider: Major game studios have already received prototypes of improved versions of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series "intermediate generation" consoles
Authoritative insider under the nickname Tez2, who specializes in leaks on the GTA series and Rockstar Games studio news, reported on GTAForum that many major developers have already received prototypes of new consoles from Xbox and PlayStation.
Journalist Tom Henderson paid attention to this news and said on his website Insider Gaming interesting information about the new gaming devices.
According to unofficial information, some studios are already developing games with the capabilities of the "intermediate generation consoles". The name of the devices is not yet known, so they are referred to as "PS5 Pro" and "the new version of the Xbox Series."
Tom Henderson's sources claim that the components for the new devices are not fundamentally different from the current versions, but the consoles will be superior to the current models in terms of technical parameters.
Henderson suggests that the consoles will be on sale in late 2023 or early 2024.
