Minecraft camels are already available in the new beta version

Beta versions of Minecraft 1.20 began rolling out just days after Mojang revealed the first features for the big update over the weekend.

Here's What We Know

Mojang has released a Minecraft Java build and a Minecraft Preview beta, which are actually test builds of the update for the current 1.19 version. However, both versions have added an experimental feature switch where you can include new camels, bamboo wood, bran and other content from 1.20.

According to the notes, camels will be performed in desert villages. They will be able to be ridden in the saddle, carried on the ground, and a second rider will be available. An additional unexpected experimental feature has become available in the Java Edition notes: the pack. Carrying items appeared back in 2020 and then disappeared for a while. And now they're back, so maybe they'll make it into the game's official update.
