Elden Ring, God of War: Ragnarok, and Stray are the triumphators of The Game Awards 2022! And Genshin Impact won the Player's Choice Award

One of the most exciting events of the gaming year, The Game Awards 2022, took place.

Here's What We Know

The best projects of the year were named in different categories, and their developers received a sea of applause and prestigious awards from the hands of celebrities. Hollywood celebrities such as Al Pacino, Daniel Craig and Rian Johnson handed out the statuettes.

The Last of Us stars Troy Baker, Ashley Johnson, Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal jointly took the stage to announce the winner in the Best Action Game category, which was Bayonetta 3.

And the Best Game of the Year, as announced, was declared by the eccentric game designer Josef Fares - the winner of the same category in 2021 with It Takes Two.

The best game of 2022 was action-RPG from FromSoftware - Elden Ring. The game also took the award in the categories of Best Production, Best Artistic Style and Best Role-playing Game.

The winner in six categories was God of War: Ragnarok.

Stray Cats was not left out and won Best Indie Game and Best Debut Indie Project.

And Genshin Impact won in the Player's Choice category.
