Rockstar shows off new cars and fighter jet from GTA Online summer update

Rockstar has officially revealed the first details about the summer update for GTA Online, which will add a new San Andreas Mercenaries mission, a new quest leader to guide the operation, a bunch of new cars and other improvements to the game life.

Here's What We Know

So far, we know that the summer update will include at least three new vehicles, including two new cars and a new fighter jet. Rockstar Games has not yet announced the official names of the vehicles.

The new sedan is heavily inspired by the real-life Dodge Challenger. There will also be a new SUV, which, although compact in size, looks very manoeuvrable. And last but not least, a new fighter jet, which also looks quite familiar, especially to those who have seen the US F-35 fighter jets.

The new fighter jet is expected to play a key role in the upcoming San Andreas Mercenaries mission, as numerous air battles await you in this new contract under the guidance of Charlie Reed, an experienced aircraft mechanic. This new quest guide gathers a team of ex-military pilots to carry out a series of attacks on the Merryweather Security Corporation, which will be your main target.
