Sony is preparing a big surprise for gamers

Santa Monica Studio has released update 06.02 for God of War Ragnarök, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the franchise. The update adds a free Dark Odyssey cosmetic item collection available to all players on PS5, PS4 and PC.

Video game adaptations already have successful examples with The Last of Us, Fallout, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and Arcane. However, every new announcement of a TV series or film based on a game still causes scepticism among gamers. And the situation repeated itself when the showrunner of the upcoming God of War series, Ron Moore, admitted that he is not a gamer and did not complete the game in 2018.

Amazon is confident in its upcoming God of War series, having ordered two seasons before the premiere of the first one. This was announced by Ronald D. Moore, known for his work on Battlestar Galactica and For All Mankind, who is currently leading the project.
