Samsung Electronics Foundry, has received a boost to its custom chip business, thanks to positive reviews of its Exynos processor, which is installed in the Galaxy S24 smartphones. According to analysts, Google plans to use Samsung's 4-nanometre-class technology for its next Tensor G4 processor, which will be installed in the Pixel 9 smartphones scheduled for release in the second half of the year.

Google's Pixel smartphones have shown phenomenal growth in the Japanese market in 2023, according to International Data Corporation (IDC). Pixel's annual sales growth was an astounding 527 per cent, cementing Google's position as the country's third-largest smartphone maker.
