Valve has announced a new stable version of SteamOS for Steam Deck and Steam Deck OLED users.
Here's What's New About It
The update has been released with SteamOS 3.5.5. One of the notable improvements to the system is the default colour setting for the Steam Deck LCD. The sRGB colour gamut emulation now provides warmer and brighter colours. Users can fine-tune the display colours using the new feature in the console's settings.
Valve's developers also fixed CPU performance issues with certain workloads and updated the Arch Linux base. This has improved performance, security and stability of SteamOS-enabled packages. You can read more about all the innovations on the Steam website.
