Yesterday, 17 January, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S24 flagships with One UI 6.1 on board and a new Always-On Display feature. As it turns out, the company's older smartphones won't get it.
The new products are called Xiaoxin K1 Quiet and Xiaoxin M1 Quiet. The devices are available in two colours: Moonlit White and Twilight Grey. Both gadgets connect to a computer via a common 2.4 GHz receiver.
The novelty has a 27-inch IPS screen. The panel has a resolution of 2560×1440p, refresh rate of 260 Hz and response time of 1 ms. Peak brightness of the display is 350 nits and 450 nits in HDR mode
The update has been released with the build number OxygenOS 14.0.0.300. The system has already started rolling out to devices in India in waves. In other countries OTA will be available soon.
