Patch, after 17 years: the developers of Star Wars Empire at War have delighted gamers with an unexpected update to the iconic strategy game

Star Wars: Empire at War was released in February 2006 and is still remembered as one of the best games of that time.

To the surprise of fans, the developers from Petroglyph studio didn't forget about their creation and unexpectedly released an update.

Here's What We Know

The patch is not notable for its scale, it fixes minor bugs, corrects the balance of factions and improves performance.

The main change was the conversion of Star Wars: Empire at War from 32-bit to 64-bit. This will fix bugs related to RAM leaks and eliminate some crashes.

Fans of multiplayer matches will be pleased that Petroglyph game designers have also improved the connection between players.
