Microsoft will introduce Direct Super Resolution, the analogue to Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR, as early as March

Earlier we reported that Microsoft may be working on its own analogue of Nvidia DLSS, AMD FSR and Intel XeSS.

These technologies allow you to significantly increase performance and scale the resolution of games without the need to improve the computer components - often achieved through the use of AI.

Here's What We Know

At the professional exhibition Game Developers Conference (GDC), which will be held on 21 March, Microsoft will hold a presentation DirectX State of the Union, which will present the technology DirectSR (Direct Super Resolution) and tell the public the principle of its work.

Earlier it was claimed that this option will be available not only on PC, but also on Xbox, but so far this information has not been confirmed.

Experts assume that Microsoft, as well as competitors, will resort to the help of AI, as well as make DirectSR technology one of the components of DX12 Ultimate.
