What are the best xbox controller phone mounts available?

Hey gamers!

So, I've been getting more into mobile gaming lately, and I'm tired of propping my phone up against random stuff while I play. Time to get serious, you know? I'm thinking of grabbing one of those phone mounts for my Xbox controller, but man, there are so many options out there!
I've been reading reviews online, but I want to hear from real people who've actually used these things. What's your go-to mount?

Here's what I'm really looking for:
- Something that won't wobble when I'm in the middle of an intense match. Nothing worse than your phone flopping around, right?
- It's gotta work with the new Xbox Series X|S controllers. I upgraded recently and don't want any compatibility headaches.
- I switch between phones sometimes, so it needs to handle different sizes. Bonus points if it can hold a phone with a chunky case!
- And obviously, I don't want it to fall apart after a month. Build quality matters!

If you've got a mount you swear by, I'd love to hear about it. Or hey, if there's one that's absolute trash, warn a brother so I don't waste my money!

Thanks for any tips you can throw my way.

I recommend the Orzly Xbox Controller Phone Mount. It's a great phone holder for Xbox controllers and works well with both iPhone and Android devices. It's adjustable and has a good grip, so you don't have to worry about your phone slipping.

I noticed some mounts come with additional features like adjustable angles or even a charging port. Does anyone think these features are worth the extra money, or should I just go with a basic Xbox controller phone mount?

I think it depends on how often you plan to use it and what features are important to you. If you're gaming for long periods, adjustable angles can help prevent neck strain, and a built-in charging port is great if you're worried about your phone's battery life. On the other hand, if you're just casually gaming or using it for short sessions, a basic Xbox controller phone mount should do the job just fine. Personally, I went for one with adjustable angles, and it's been a game-changer for comfort!

I've been using the OtterBox mobile gaming clip for my Xbox controller phone mount. It's super sturdy and fits my iPhone perfectly. Definitely one of the best xbox phone mounts I've tried!

For me, the WEPIGEEK Controller Mobile Phone Holder is the way to go. It's a solid phone holder for xbox controller that works great with both standard and elite controllers. Bro, plus it folds up nicely for storage.

Has anyone tried those generic brands on Amazon? I'm wondering if they're any good or if I should stick to the name brands for an xbox controller phone holder.

I've had mixed experiences with generic brands. Some are decent, but I'd recommend sticking with known brands for better build quality and compatibility.

xDDD, just hold the phone in your hand while gaming. Who needs a fancy Xbox phone holder? Your hands are free anyway, right?))

For those using the iphone xbox controller mount, does the mount obstruct any of the buttons or ports?/ I've seen some mounts that seem to cover the headphone jack or charging port,, which would be a dealbreaker for me.

No worries, the iPhone Xbox controller mounts I've used don't block any buttons or ports. Just make sure to choose a mount that's specifically designed for Xbox controllers and iPhones, and you should be good to go!

I've seen a lot of phone mounts for Xbox controllers, but I'm still on the fence about getting one, they seem convenient, though..

Bought mount for my nephew's birthday thinking I was cool uncle. Kid looked at me like I'd given him a VCR. Apparently "real gamers" don't do mobile?? When did this become uncool? I'm officially old and out of touch. Mount's sitting in my drawer now if anyone wants it lol

Game changer for my 45min train commute into the city. Otterbox mount is sturdy enough that I can actually play action games without feeling like phone's gonna fly across the train car. Guy next to me asked where I got it - so either I look cool or ridiculous, can't tell which

Heads up specifically for Series X|S controllers - the top rail profile is different from the old One shape. A bunch of cheap mounts that "fit all xbox" snap onto the wrong point and flex that little plastic lip every single session until it cracks. Happened to my first controller before i figured out what was causing it. Check that whatever you buy is specifically listed for Series X|S, not just "compatible with Xbox" ๐Ÿ™

Sacred13 said "just wrap rubber bands around it like a real gamer" in february and is objectively the only correct answer in this entire thread

The angle lock quality is something nobody tests until like week three when your phone slowly tilts forward mid-match and you're watching your screen disappear in real time. Tighten the knob. Tighten it again. Still droops. That's how you know it's a bad mount
