Best cheap rc helicopter for beginners? give me some advice

I'm looking for advice on a good cheap RC helicopter for beginners. I've always been fascinated by RC helis but never took the plunge. Now I'm ready to start, but I don't want to spend too much in case I suck at it (which I probably will at first xD).

I've been browsing online and there's just SO many options. It's overwhelming! I'd love to hear some recommendations for a beginner rc helicopter that won't break the bank. My budget is around $50-$100, but I could stretch it a bit for something really good.

I'm thinking of mainly flying indoors to start (don't want to crash into my neighbor's yard lol). Also, I've heard some are easier to control than others? Any thoughts on that? Oh, and durability is a big plus. I'm sure I'll be crashing A LOT while learning. Are replacement parts a thing I should be thinking about too? Thanks in advance for any help! Can't wait to join the heli club!

The Blade Nano S3 is another good option. It's a bit more advanced, but it's really stable and can grow with you as you get better. It's not the cheapest, but it's worth the investment for a quality beginner RC helicopter.

P. S. And any spare parts for this RC helicopter are for sale, guys!

I’m new to this too. Can anyone explain the difference between coaxial and single-rotor RC helicopters? Which is better for beginners?

Personally, I found coaxial models way easier to handle when I was learning. They’re perfect for getting the hang of basic controls without too much frustration. Coaxial RC helicopters have two counter-rotating rotors, making them super stable and easy to control, perfect for beginners.Single rotor helicopters are more agile and faster but are trickier to fly.

Just remember, "cheap" and "best" don't always go together in the RC world. You might save money now, but a super cheap heli might frustrate you and turn you off the hobby.

For a beginner rc helicopter, I'd recommend the Syma S107H-E it's super easy to fly and pretty durable, which is great when you're just starting out. Plus, it's one of the best RC helicopters for beginners without breaking the bank."

Don't forget to factor in replacement parts when budgeting! You WILL crash your first rc helicopter. A lot 100% - it's part of the learning process.

Whatever you choose, make sure it has a training mode or reduced rates for beginners. It'll make learning to hover much easier.

I haven’t bought one yet, but the Cheerwing S107/S107G looks promising. I’ve been doing some research, and it seems like a solid choice for beginners.

Besides the Syma and Blade, has anyone tried the MJX F645? I heard it's a good balance between price and performance, making it a contender for the best RC helicopter for beginners.

How do you guys handle repairs on these beginner RC helicopters? I've seen a lot of spare parts available, but I'm not sure if they're worth the investment or if it's better to buy a new model.

Dude, spare parts are inexpensive, to be honest, and if you have a 3D printer, then they are almost free)

Just tie a string to a rock and swing it around your head. Same thing as an rc helicopter, but cheaper! xDDD) LoL)

Something worth knowing before you go too deep: collective pitch vs fixed pitch is a bigger fork in the road than most beginner guides let on. Fixed pitch is fine to start but it has a ceiling. Collective pitch is where the actual learning curve lives. Neither is wrong just two different hobbies wearing the same name
