Need help finding best vpn for sky go to watch UK football from USA

Just moved to Chicago from London for a new job and already missing my football terribly. Have a valid Sky subscription through my brother back home but obviously can't access it from here. Been trying to research the best vpn for sky go but keep finding contradictory info everywhere.

Tried a couple random VPNs from Google searches but Sky seems to detect them immediately. Either get stuck on loading screens or that annoying "this content isn't available in your region" message pops up.

Anyone here successfully watching Sky Go from the States? What's actually working these days? Cost isn't really an issue if it actually works consistently.

Used to work perfectly until sky updated their detection system around christmas. Now it's basically a weekly game of whack-a-mole with different servers

Got my setup working after months of failures. Key is changing your device time zone to UK, clearing browser cache before EVERY session, and connecting to less popular UK cities instead of London

Bought dedicated IP address from vpn company (costs extra but worth it). Working flawlessly for 4 months now for both sky and bbc. Regular shared IPs get blocked too quickly

Reminder that sky's terms specifically forbid this and they CAN cancel your subscription if detected repeatedly. Brother's account got nuked last month after using vpn from spain

Literally just use your brother's login credentials on peacock here in the states. They show tons of premier league games and it's completely legal. Why complicate things?

Check if your company has global vpn for work. corporate networks rarely get flagged by streaming services. Been watching through my office network for years without issues

Important consideration: many users overlook WebRTC leaks when setting up vpn connections, allowing streaming services to detect your actual location regardless of what server you're connected to

also in chicago, also from uk. gave up on sky go completely last january. NordVPN still works for me most weeks but the thing nobody tells you is saturday 3pm kickoffs are the worst time to try - half the UK is also connected and the servers get hammered. weekday evening games are basically never an issue

The reason free and cheap VPNs fail instantly is that sky maintains a constantly updated database of known VPN exit nodes - shared IPs used by thousands of subscribers get flagged within days. The only things that consistently fly under the radar are dedicated residential IPs or obfuscated protocols that disguise the traffic as normal HTTPS

I pay for sky. My brother hosts my account in sheffield. I live in boston. Sky takes my money every month without complaint. Somehow watching the games i paid for from a different timezone is the problem. The logic here is truly something
