Sales of co-operative indie horror game Content Warning have reached 1 million copies, but the game's total number of gamers is much higher than that

1 April saw the release of Content Warning, a fun co-operative indie horror game in which players are invited to wander through dangerous locations as video bloggers to film paranormal stories.

For the first few days after release, the game was available for free and 6.6 million people took advantage of the offer. Content Warning is liked by the public and gets great reviews and attracts a huge number of gamers, but for money.

Here's What We Know

The developers from Landfall Games reported that two weeks after the release, another million customers joined the 6.6 million people who got the game for free.

That's a great metric for a niche game. The studio's game designers thank gamers for their interest in Content Warning and promise to continually add new content to the game and improve what's already released.
