Talos II, a reconnaissance drone with a speed of up to 200 km/h, a range of 500 km and a flight time of more than 20 hours, is unveiled

Greek company SAS Technology unveiled a new reconnaissance-level unmanned aerial vehicle at DEFEA 2023 in Athens. It is called Talos II.

Here's What We Know

The drone weighs 80kg, is 4m long and has a 6m wingspan. It is designed for reconnaissance, surveillance and reconnaissance. The drone can also be used to guide artillery fire.

The Talos II has a top speed of 200km/h. The drone can stay in the air for 20 hours without touching down. It has a range of up to 500km and reaches an operating altitude of 6,000m.

The Talos II is capable of carrying a payload of up to 15 kg. Depending on the mission, the drone is equipped with a radio relay station, laser rangefinder and daylight and thermal cameras.
