It's official: Xiaomi to unveil POCO F5 and POCO F5 Pro at launch on May 9
Xiaomi, after a month of various rumours and leaks, has announced the launch date for the POCO F5 range of smartphones.

So, according to the brand's official invitation on social media, the release of new products will take place on May 9. That is in a fortnight.

There will be two models in the new series, the POCO F5 and the POCO F5 Pro. The first model will be the global version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. The gadget will get an OLED screen with an enhanced 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor, 5000mAh battery with 67W charging support, triple main camera with 64MP main sensor, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC and IP53 water protection. The novelty will cost around $350.
As for the top-of-the-line POCO F5 Pro, it will be a copy of the Redmi K60 smartphone that debuted in December 2022. The novelty will feature a 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED screen, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, a 67W fast charging battery and a 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP camera. The gadget is priced from $360 in China. Global prices of the smartphone are not available yet.
