vivo X90: the first smartphone on the market with a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 processor

The company vivo held an event in China, where it presented a new flagship line of smartphones. The base model was named vivo X90.

Features

The novelty is the first smartphone on the market, equipped with a processor MediaTek Dimensity 9200. The chip is built on a second-generation TSMC 4-nanometer process. It has eight cores in a 1 + 3 + 4 configuration. The first productive core is Cortex-X3 with a frequency of 3.05 GHz. Then there are three 2.85 GHz Cortex A715 and four 1.8 GHz Cortex A510 cores.

The processor is paired with LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 4.0 storage and the proprietary vivo V2 ISP image processing chip. It is responsible for the work of the main camera Zeiss. She here is a triple 50 MP (Sony IMX866) + 12 MP (wide-angle module) + 12 MP (telephoto lens with 2x). The front camera in the novelty of 32 MP.

The smartphone comes with a 6.78-inch OLED panel. It has a resolution of 2800×1260p, support for 10-bit colors and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The novelty also has IP64 water protection and a 4,810mAh battery with 120-watt charging support. The smartphone comes with the branded OriginOS 3 shell based on Android 13.

The vivo X90 will go on sale on November 30, but so far only in China.
