What is known
The Ukrainian defenders managed to capture a modern airborne combat vehicle (BMD-4M) in excellent condition and with an intact combat kit. The cost of one such BMD-4M is about $1,000,000.

BMD-4M is a Russian combat tracked vehicle. It is designed to transport the personnel of the airborne troops, increase their mobility, armament and security on the battlefield. The machine is landed by parachute, parachute-jet or landing method. The BMD-4M is armed with a 100 mm 2A70 cannon, a 30 mm 2A72 automatic cannon, a 7.62 mm PKTM machine gun, a 9M117M3 Arkan ATGM, and six 902V smoke grenade launchers.
