Oleksiy Reznikov: Ukraine will receive Leopard tanks, but for now they will be used to train soldiers
Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov mentioned diring the national TV marathon that one of the European countries is ready to supply Ukraine with tanks of "NATO" standard.
What we know
We are talking about German Leopard tanks. What country will transfer them to us Mr Reznikov did not say, but we suppose that it will be Spain. By the way, according to Oleksiy Reznikov, Ukraine will receive Leopard tanks only for training. They will start in the near future at the training grounds of the Baltic states. When the Leopard tanks will arrive in Ukraine, unfortunately, it is unknown.
"After the tank crews will be ready, we will continue to talk in parallel about arming the Ukrainian armed forces with modern tanks."
Recall, today it was reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine received German anti-aircraft units Gepard, as well as Polish tanks PT-91 Twardy.
