Ukraine's attack aviation and artillery destroyed four S-300 SAMs, a Pantsir-S1 SAM, two howitzers, a drone, armored vehicles and two ammunition depots during the day

On August 6, 2022, artillery destroyed four S-300 surface-to-air missile systems at once. It should be noted that the S-300 is the basis of the Russian air defense system, but now it is used as an operational and tactical missile system or multiple rocket launcher system for shelling Ukrainian cities.

Along with four S-300 air defense systems, the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to destroy one Pantsir-S1 surface-to-air missile system worth over $10 million. Ukrainian artillery left the Russian army without two 122-mm howitzers and a reconnaissance drone. The drone model is not specified. In addition, 72 occupants, many armored vehicles and an ammunition depot were destroyed.

The assault aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also did a good job. Helicopters, bombers and fighters of the Air Force conducted nine strikes against enemy positions during the day.
