Greece has no plans to transfer its S-300 surface-to-air missile systems to Ukraine

It looks like the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not receive Greek S-300 surface-to-air missile systems.

Here's What We Know

Greece does not intend to send its anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine. According to Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Greece should not support the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the expense of its own defense capabilities.

During the press conference the official was also asked about the supply of armored vehicles to Ukraine and sending military personnel to train Ukrainians. In his answer, Mitsotakis recalled that Greece is ready to transfer old Soviet BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicles if it receives German Marder 1A3 BMPs. Negotiations with Germany have been going on for a long time, but so far there have been no results.
