Ukrainian Armed Forces receive SKY CTRL system to counter enemy drones

The DOU IT community and the Kolo charity have purchased a system to counter the enemy drones, called SKY CTRL.

Here's What We Know

SKY CTRL is a development of the Polish company Advanced Protection Systems. The manufacturer has sent an instructor to train Ukrainian soldiers to use the system. The company will also transfer a turntable to Ukraine within a few weeks.

The range of detection of unmanned aerial vehicles is from 1 meter to 10 km, and the deviation is 1-10 meters. SKY CTRL has radar sensors and supports 3D MIMO technology to improve system efficiency.

The unit can jam or divert drones weighing up to 30 kg. For comparison, the most popular Russian drone "Orlan-10" weighs 19 kg including maximum payload.
