Xiaomi has finally updated its flagship line of smartphones. The main novelty is Xiaomi 13 Pro.
Here's What We Know
The smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. The processor is made by 4 nm technology, has cores with a frequency of up to 3.2 GHz and graphics Adreno 740 GPU. Unlike models of other generations, Xiaomi 13 Pro will offer users a storage capacity of 512 GB. The standard of RAM is LPDDR5x, and flash memory is UFS 4.0.
The flagship is equipped with Samsung's LTPO AMOLED E6 display. The panel supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and 120 Hz refresh rate. The maximum brightness is 1500 nits, the diagonal is 6.73", and the resolution is 1440 x 3200 dots. The display is covered by first-generation Gorilla Glass Victus glass, has a built-in fingerprint scanner and a 32MP cutout for the front camera.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro has a triple main camera. The ultra-wide-angle module and telephoto lens uses a 50MP sensor of 2.76" optical format with 0.64µm pixels. The standard camera has a 50.3 MP sensor (Sony IMX989) of 1" size and a Leica lens. The novelty has got Hyper OIS image stabilization system, Dual Pixel autofocus, 3.2x zoom without loss of quality and support for shooting videos in 8K UHD.
The battery capacity is 4,820 mAh. The company limited the fast charging power at 120 watts. The battery will fully charge in 19 minutes. It also claims wireless charging at 50W (from zero to 100% in 36 minutes). Among other things worth mentioning is IP68 water and dust protection, NFC, IR port, four stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB-C and MIUI 14 firmware based on Android 13.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The Xiaomi 13 Pro will cost from $760 to $935, depending on the modification. What's interesting, the most expensive Xiaomi 12 Pro cost only $15 of the base version at the start of sales.
