14 Honor smartphones will receive Magic UI 6.0 in 2022 - official update schedule published
Honor introduced a smartphone Magic V, with which the firmware debuted Magic UI 6.0... The company also announced a list of models that will receive the shell "by air".
Honor Magic V will go on sale on January 18 in China with pre-installed Magic UI 6.0 firmware based on Android 12. Until the end of this quarter, the update will be released only for three smartphones: Honor Magic 3, Magic 3 Pro and Magic 3 Pro +.
For the second quarter, the company has planned to update four more models: Honor 50, Honor 60 and their advanced versions. Finally, six more smartphones will receive Magic UI 6.0 in the second half of 2022:
- Honor 50 SE
- Honor V40
- Honor V40 Lite
- Honor X30
- Honor X30i
- Honor X20
In the third quarter of 2022, an update is also planned for the Honor Tab V7 and Tab V7 Pro tablets. When the rest of the current models will be updated, the manufacturer did not specify. Recall that Magic UI 6.0 will be available only for smartphones and tablets released from the beginning of 2021, i.e. after the "divorce" of Honor and Huawei.
