OnePlus 10 Pro will receive "the world's first Always-on display with a frequency of 1 Hz" and the best vibration motor among Android smartphones

Tomorrow, January 11, OnePlus will present its new flagships OnePlus 10 and OnePlus 10 Pro. And on the eve of the presentation, the manufacturer decided to reveal its several trump cards of the older model.

Excellent display

No one doubted that OnePlus 10 Pro there will be a quality display, and the company did not miss the opportunity to highlight that. According to the promotional poster, it will be a Samsung LTPO 2.0 display that offers a 2K + screen resolution and a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Moreover, OnePlus is positioning it as the world's first screen with Always-on and an image refresh rate of just 1 Hz.

To be honest, it doesn't sound entirely clear and looks more like a marketing gimmick that manufacturers love so much. The video explains the situation a little, in which the OnePlus 10 Pro is compared with competitors with an adaptive scan rate - it seems that they are Xiaomi 12 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S21 +. The video shows the new OnePlus panel dropping the refresh rate to 1Hz when displaying still images such as the picture, home screen or settings menu. The devices with which the smartphone is compared generally do not fall to such minimum values. Although the same Always-on not shown in the video.

The best vibration motor. Nearly…

Another feature of the OnePlus 10 Pro will be an updated and improved vibration motor. According to OnePlus' Weibo post, the upcoming flagship smartphone will be equipped with a dedicated X-axis linear vibration motor, considered the most advanced of all. Android smartphones... The new motor has increased vibration force, more sensitive vibration response and more than 170 different vibration effects, making it more user-friendly.

At the same time, the vibration motor is approximately 47% larger than in the previous generation. Still, the company itself admits that the iPhone 12 Pro Max has an even larger vibration motor.
