Samsung Galaxy A22e 5G to get IP68 protection, NFC, single camera and Android 11

Samsung will soon introduce models Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A23. Another novelty will be the Samsung Galaxy A22e 5G.

What is known

The upcoming novelty will be the global version of the Japanese model Galaxy A22 5G, which in turn is different from the international Galaxy A22 5G. The smartphone has been certified by the Bluetooth SIG with model number SC-56B.

Samsung Galaxy A22e 5G will receive a 5.8” HD+ LCD screen without support for higher refresh rates. The capacity of the built-in battery will be 4000 mAh. Another feature of the smartphone will be the presence of a single main camera (13 MP).

The upcoming novelty will include NFC, a 5-megapixel front camera, 4 GB of RAM, a 64 GB drive and a MediaTek 5G processor. Probably, we are talking about Dimensity 700. The case will be protected from water according to the IP68 standard. The Samsung Galaxy A22e 5G will go on sale with Android 11 preinstalled.
