28 Huawei smartphones to receive EMUI 12 global firmware - official timeline

Huawei has released an official software update schedule for smartphones sold outside of China.
What is known
Huawei plans to update flagship smartphones and mid-range / budget models. The EMUI 12 firmware based on the Android operating system will become available to them, but the company does not specify the Google OS version.
During the first two quarters of 2022, almost three dozen smartphones will receive the global version of EMUI 12:
- Huawei Mate 40 Pro
- Huawei Mate 30 / 30 Pro
- Huawei Mate 20 / 20 Pro
- Huawei Mate 20 X 4G/5G
- Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche Design
- Huawei Mate 10 / 10 Pro
- Huawei Mate 10 RS Porsche Design
- Huawei Mate Xs
- Huawei P40
- Huawei P40 Pro / Pro+
- Huawei P30 / P30 Pro
- Huawei P20/P20 Pro
- Huawei nova 7 / 7i / 7 SE
- Huawei nova 5T
- Huawei nova 4/4e
- Huawei Y9 Prime
- Huawei Y9s
- Huawei Y8p
The update will be sent over the air. You can find out about the availability in the settings ("System and updates" - "Software updates") or in the "Support" application.
