Xiaomi and Qualcomm launch a special version of Xiaomi 12 in honor of the Chinese New Year
On February 1, Chinese New Year will be celebrated. In honor of the holiday, Qualcomm and Xiaomi have prepared a new version of the flagship smartphone Xiaomi 12.
What is known
The novelty has a long name Xiaomi 12 Year Shopping Festival Selection Gift Box. The smartphone will be delivered in a large box, made in bright red colors. On the packaging you can see the inscription "2022" in large numbers. In the box itself, in addition to the flagship, you can find a special case (also red) and an accessory in the form of a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 single-chip system.
In technical terms, there are no differences from the original model. It, recall, is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen1, 120Hz OLED panel and a main camera with a resolution of 50 MP + 13 MP + 5 MP. Xiaomi 12 received a 4500 mAh battery with 50 W and 67 W wired and wireless charging, respectively.
Prices
The cost of Xiaomi 12 Year Shopping Festival Selection Gift Box has not yet been specified. The smartphone will be available in limited quantities from January 30, 2022. The original Xiaomi 12 is sold in China for $580.
