Sony has lowered the price of its flagship smartphone Xperia Pro last year.

What is known

The device began to be sold in the US with a $500 discount, but even so, the device costs more than most flagships on the market. For example, the same Galaxy S21 Ultra ($1100) or iPhone 13 Pro Max ($1450).

Recall that Xperia Pro debuted in January last year. Sony is positioning the device as a smartphone for videographers, directors and streamers. It can be connected to Sony Alpha cameras via the built-in micro HDMI connector and used as an external monitor.

As for the specifications, the smartphone has 6.5" 4K CinemaWide OLED Widescreen HDR. The novelty also has three cameras of 12 MP each, a Snapdragon 865 processor, 12 GB of RAM, 512 GB of internal memory, a microSD slot up to 1 TB, IP65 / 68 protection, a 5G modem and a 4000 mAh battery.
