OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G - Dimensity 900 with 64MP camera and Android 11 for €329

As expected, OnePlus has introduced a simplified version of the Nord 2. The novelty is called OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G and will be officially sold in Europe from next week.

What is known

The smartphone received a 6.43” AMOELD panel with HDR10+ and a refresh rate of 90Hz. A fingerprint scanner is integrated into the screen, and Gorilla Glass 5 provides protection. The resolution of the front camera, which is installed in the left corner, is 16 MP.

The heart of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G is the 6nm Dimensity 900 chipset, complemented by 6/8GB of RAM depending on the region. The storage capacity is only 128 GB, but there is an independent slot for a microSD card. Responsible for autonomy is a 4500 mAh battery with 65 W charging.

The resolution of the main camera was 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP. It does not have a telephoto lens and OIS, but can shoot video in FHD at 30-120 FPS and 4K UHD at 30 FPS. The design of the camera platform itself is borrowed from the OPPO Find X2.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G runs Android 11 with OxygenOS 11.3 skin. The set of wired and wireless interfaces is complete - there is both NFC and Mini-Jack. But the novelty cannot boast of stereo speakers.

Price

On February 22, sales of the smartphone will start. The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G retailed for €329 in the Eurozone, £299 in the UK and $320 in India. Note that the 6GB RAM version will only be sold in India.
