Competitor of Apple AirTags and Samsung SmartTag: Huawei is preparing to release the Huawei Tag tracker

Back in November last year, Huawei applied for the trademark "Huawei S-Tag" in the EU. Now there is new confirmation of the release of the tracker, which will compete with Apple AirTags (pictured) and Samsung SmartTag.

What is known?

It seems that Huawei really intends to enter the tracker market for tracking personal items. Recently, Huawei devices in China received an update through the Huawei Cloud app. And it says that Huawei Cloud has added support for Huawei Tag.

The update log states that the Huawei Tag is an ultra-wideband (UWB) tracking device that allows users to pinpoint the location of lost items.

Thus, given this leak, it can be assumed that the official announcement of the novelty will take place in the near future.
