Apple stops production of iPod players: the remaining stocks sold out in a day

Recently, Apple announced the cessation of production of iPod players. The first iPod model was released over 20 years ago - in 2001. The latest model was the 2019 iPod touch.

Can buy?

Along with the announcement of the end of production, Apple announced that stocks of the latest iPod touch remained in official online stores. However, in just a day, these stocks were sold out - at the moment in the US Apple Online Store, all iPod touch models are listed as "out of stock."

But for now, you can still buy an iPod as a keepsake: stocks of some models remain in Apple online stores in other countries, such as Brazil, Canada and the United Kingdom. Players are also available from third party vendors, including Amazon and B&H Photo Video.
