The Armed Forces demonstrated the work of the 152-mm DANA ACS

The Armed Forces of Ukraine demonstrated in action a 152-mm self-propelled howitzer DANA.

Wheel ACS made in the 70s of last century in the former Czechoslovakia. The howitzer is mounted on a Tatra 813 chassis. Guidance is performed by an electro-hydraulic system or a manual mechanism.

The peculiarity of the car gun with automatic loading is that the machine can work at any angle of elevation of the barrel. The maximum range of fire is 20 km, and effective - 18.7 km.

DANA is firing with installed supports on the right, left and back. At the rear of the chassis is the engine compartment. The cabin was located in front, and the combat unit - in the middle.
