Orange Pi 800 computer in a keyboard with Rockchip RK3399 processor

The company that made Raspberry Pi alternatives called Orange Pi is mostly focused on small, low-cost single-board computers. Now the company launched its answer to the Raspberry Pi 400 computer-in-a-keyboard, the Orange Pi 800. You should not expect high performance from a device. Inside is a six-core Rockchip RK3399 processor with two ARM Cortex-A72 cores and four Cortex-A53 cores. The video chip Mali-T860 is responsible for the graphics. Note that such an SoC is most often used in low-cost TV boxes.

The keyboard has 78 keys with a few status indicator LED lights. Orange Pi 800 measures 286 x 122 x 22mm (11.3″ x 4.8″ x 0.9″) and weighs 385 grams (14 ounces). Orange Pi 800 will support Chromium OS (the open source version of Chrome OS) and a new Orange Pi OS that’s based on Arch Linux.
