Hollywood actor Jim Carrey bought a photo of an abandoned sanatorium in a non-fungible token format.

What is known

The star of Ace Ventura, Dumb and Dumber, The Mask and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind spent $40,000 to buy a photo of a sanatorium in the Georgian city of Tskhaltubo. This is the first non-fungible token of the 60-year-old American actor.

NFTs It's called "Loyalty". It is part of the collection The Wild Withinby artists Ryan Koopmans and Alice Wexell. In addition to the image bought by Jim Carrey, it includes 12 more NFTs. The photographs were taken by the artists during their travels in the USSR.
