Samsung Gaming Hub launched today with Twitch, Xbox Game Pass and more features

The Samsung Gaming Hub is now available on 2022 Samsung smart TVs and smart monitors, and it's bringing Amazon's two new gaming-streaming services to its lineup: Twitch and Luna. Today, Twitch is accessible, while Luna will be introduced soon. Gamers can also access Xbox Game Pass as well as NVIDIA GeForce NOW, Google Stadia, and Utomik apps in the same location on their televisions thanks to the launch of the gaming hub. At a later date, the firm expects to provide more information about the rollout of the gaming hub for earlier Samsung smart TVs.

For those who are unfamiliar with Samsung's Gaming Hub, it allows users to access major cloud gaming services via only their Bluetooth controller and no console required. In the gaming hub, Spotify and YouTube applications are also accessible.

Samsung also says it will continue to provide more gaming-related material in the future, including new collaborations. “With expanding partnerships across leading game streaming services and expert curated recommendations, players will be able to easily browse and discover games from the widest selection available, regardless of platform," said Won-Jin Lee, Samsung's Service Business Team president.

Amazon's Luna cloud gaming service was made available to the general public in March, and it is already accessible on Fire TVs. Its affiliation with Samsung may provide the fledgling gaming service a simple approach to reach people who have never used it at home. Twitch (which is owned by Amazon) formerly offered a software for Samsung smart TVs, but it was discontinued in 2019. Streamers and their fans will be pleased to hear that the platform has returned to Samsung newest smart TVs.

Due the fact that smart TVs are now nearly essential to gaming, it seems natural for Samsung to get even closer with the gaming community. Last year, Microsoft announced that it would work with global TV manufacturers to directly connect Xbox into smart TVs via an Xbox with Game Pass app. To some people, the concept of a "one-stop shop" for all of your cloud-based and console games may be appealing; it might also help gamers save time and effort by allowing them to play in one mode without having to switch modes.
