Norwegian M109A3GN 155-mm artillery system demonstrated to the Ukrainian Armed Forces

More than a month ago, the Ukrainian Armed Forces began conducting training on the Norwegian M109A3GN self-propelled artillery unit. Now the foreign SAU has been spotted once again.

What is known

How many artillery systems the Ukrainian Armed Forces received is still unknown. At the beginning of May they were talking about about two dozen pieces of equipment.

The M109A3GN is an analogue of the American-made 155 mm artillery unit M109. It is based on a tracked armored chassis and is equipped with a new .39 caliber barrel. The maximum range of fire is 24.7 km.
