Samsung has denied rumors about the cessation of production of Exynos chips. The company is working on a premium processor for the Galaxy S

Recently, rumors surfaced online that Samsung will abandon Exynos processors in its flagship products in 2023/2024. It was also suggested that the South Korean manufacturer will stop production of branded chips altogether. The company itself has already commented on this information.

To be or not to be Exynos?

Samsung made the statement during a conference on the results of the second quarter of 2022. Company representatives said that Samsung will not stop producing Exynos and is working to improve the brand's competitiveness. Samsung said it hopes to collaborate with other IP companies and begin early development.

It is also reported that Samsung is developing a premium processor specifically for the Galaxy S series. More than 1,000 Dream Team Samsung employees are rumored to be working on it, but because of this development, the release of the new Exynos chip will likely be postponed. So the future Galaxy S23 smartphones, it seems, will only have SoC Snapdragon.
