Surprise: Xiaomi has released a new version of MIUI, and it's not MIUI 13.5

After MIUI 13 many people expected that the next version of the Xiaomi filmware will be MIUI 13.5 or even MIUI 14. But the Chinese company unexpectedly released MIUI 13.1.

What's new?

There was no announcement - just smartphones Xiaomi 12 series began to receive in China update to MIUI 13.1. In fact, the filmware does not differ much from MIUI 13 - perhaps the main change was the fact that the firmware is based on Android 13. Nothing is yet known about the other changes.

It is not clear which smartphones will also receive MIUI 13.1 - but the source believes that it will be far from all models, but only the flagship.
