Acer Swift Edge is the world's lightest 16-inch laptop at just 1.1kg

Acer held a presentation in Indonesia and released a photo from the presentation on the Internet. A Swift Edge laptop (part number SFA16-41) is one of the slides in the presentation (Screenshot). It seeks to be the world's lightest 16-inch laptop.

The product's weight is stated to be just 1.1 kg, despite the fact that it includes a 4K OLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. One of the available configurations packs AMD Ryzen 5 6600U processor with AMD Radeon 660M graphics, 16 GB LPDDR5 Dual Channel Memory, and 512 GB SSD PCIe NVMe Gen4 of storage. The price is IDR19,999,000, which can be converted to $1 350.

At the moment, the lightest 16-inch laptop is LG Gram 16 – it is equipped with a screen with a resolution of 2.5K, and weighs 1.19 kg. Obviously, the new Acer looks more attractive.
